Topic: Print not centered on heated platform - causing curling on one edge

I am completely new to 3D printing, and just got my Solidoodle 3. I have been troubleshooting a lot of issues and have yet to resolve many of them. Right now let's start with this one.

My prints are not centered on my build platform. In Repetier they are centered on the grid, but in my printer they are farther toward one side of the platform (away from the side with the electronics).

This, I believe, is what may be causing most of my prints to start lifting up and curling one one side, where the rest of the print is fine and stays flat toward the center. The lifting happens closer to the edge, where the platform may not be as hot as the center.

I can't find where to calibrate the center of my prints so it is an even spacing all around. Attached is a top-down view of a print in process. As you can see the sides the print is nearest, and I even had a clothes clip trying to hold the curling down, which ultimately did not work.

Make sure your printer shape looks like this. The printer type might be different for you but just make sure it has all the same options as seen here.

The slicer settings are probably more important but you should double check both of them.
