Topic: Thermistor came unplugged during print

The thermistor came unplugged during print from what I can tell
it had been unplugged about 7 minutes.
the peek melted enough you can not see the barrel between the peek and block.

so I now have to set up the ceramic peek hotend that I have had a few  weeks.

this doesn't sound like it was the thermistor that came unplugged. The Marlin firmware has a saftey built in that shuts everything down if the thermistor stops reading. You might want to check to see if the gate on the mosfet is stuck open. Measure the voltage of the extruder port without "heat extruder" turned on. If you have 12V then the mosfet is stuck and you should get a new one.

I guess I am confused... so when you disconnect your extruder thermistor, repetier host reads 209 C ?
