Seriously, you are one of the masters of the game, far as I can see. I'm an old (retired) VB6/SQL developer so I know a bit about coding but the 3D stuff is all new. I'm trying not to get frustrated but it seems every tine I turn around I run into another problem. Being a noob, I try not to pester everyone and try to find answers myself. Often as not, I end up asking for help. I'm even thinking about buying the Dummies book, except it takes a few days to get here and I really don't want to wait that long. So, I keep hammering away, trying to figure out why an apparently perfectly good model won't hold water, etc. When I try to export it to netfabb or mashlab they blow up because... it's a non-solid!
I even downloaded Creo thinking it might be easier than SU but I can't get it to get up and run without a DLL initialization error! D'oh!
I'm used to being a major dude on the forums (motorcycles, etc.), not a noobie. Humbling, eh?
