Topic: z-axis leadscrew specs/comparable parts for S3

I'm starting to notice some banding in my .3mm pieces. I'm almost positive it's because the z-axis leadscrew is bent - I can see the thing twist when I move any appreciable distance. shipping from the solidoodle store is 9 dollars on top of a 14 dollar part though - does anyone know of an OEM replacement, or possibly an upgrade, where I wouldnt have to machine anything? I don't have access to much hardware right now. I've tried searching the specs but nobody actually mentions them in the replacement posts I find

It is an easy solution that doesn't cost much smile

When I get a chance to go with the 5mm rod I think I will, as one of my printers has a slightly noticeable banding from the way the threads are cut in the stock rod.
