Topic: Bad printing result with SLic3r

Hello,

I search for library of pictures of bad printing with the link under to post were the solution is given. but I didn't find it.
does it exist ? If not it could be helpfull (I realize that it is a big work).

So my problem is:
I usually use skienforge but I tried again yesterday Slic3r since a long time.
But the result is horrible as you can see it on the picture below.
I can't remember which parameter I changed and give this result.

Does any one have can explain me which parameter I have to modify ?
If you need I can Post the parameter that I've set.

Re: Bad printing result with SLic3r

where can i find this library of picture of bad prints?
ps. what's your rate of extrusion and nozzle size set to? My guess would be, layer height is not tall enough

Re: Bad printing result with SLic3r

Wow that is ugly.  I'd do a calibration box and start there.  Do an extrusion calibration to 100mm, then set your extrusion multiplier.  Make sure you measure your average filimant thickness and enter that also.  Once all that is done work on your retraction setting as it is not pulling back enough.  If you can't print a nice calibration box then nothing will print right so start there.  I'm assuming you can run the same part with skienforge with no issues?  The reason I ask is I'd be looking at a clogged nozzle given the z axis adhesion issue you are looking at.
