Topic: Platform Stuck

I lowered my platform manually without paying much attention. It went all the way down and now, it is stuck.
When a tried to put it back up, a could hear the motor sound but nothing moved.

Now the printer won't even connect

Go to the manual control tab in RH and hit the "stop motor" button. That will turn the motors off and then you might be able to turn the z-axis rod by hand and to get it back up a few mm. In the topic that I linked below, they mentioned lowering your build volume height in the software by a couple mm so that doesn't happen again.

Looks like your printer tries to connect.  You might have over heated the board trying to get the stuck motor to move. Maybe unplug it an leave it turned off for 15-20 min and try connecting again.

if you're hearing the motor, it is possible, that you popped the adhesive holding the z screw to the motor.  If this is the case, you'll need to disassemble the z-axis and re-apply some form of loctite or super glue to the rod on the motor.

It's rare, but it does happen.

I had that happen when I lowered my Z axis while the printhead was stuck in a cool print. I wasn' thinking and the part was stuck on the bed enough that it pulled the rod out of the coupling.

would be a good opportunity to upgrade to a flexible coupling and install a backlash nut.
