Topic: Thread and bolt sizes used on sd3

Hi i want to buy some replacement machine screws / bolts for assembling a new extruder... I don't want to take the old one apart as its clearly broken inside and will know doubt fall apart as soon as i remove screws.

Also the z screw what size is this? Can anyone tell me how much one revolution will raise the bed?

They are a mix of M3 and M5. No ones bothered particularly logging whats there because about 40% of it relates to the jigsaw specifically and is unneeded when using any sane extruder assembly.

Do you really see yourself building another jigsaw ? or something else.. because the something elses usually come with their own BoM's...

This ones been done to death already. Most recently in the 5mm fitment thread. 5/16" or 0.3125 is the size designation.
One revoloution is 1.411mm's on an accurately cut rod. An individual rod may differ.

adjustment screw is 20mm M3. On a standard pitch bolt its 0.5mm's per revolution.

If you want to build a Mk4, the BoM is very simple. 4 x M3's of 40mm's for the motor mounts, 1 x M5 for the bearing, and 2 x m3 screw or bolt of 10-15mm's for the clip-mount.
