Topic: Won't Start Printing

I have had my Solidoodle about a week a half and it seems it won't start printing anymore. I can control the axis, extrude just fine. Everything seems to heat up just fine. But when I run the job now nothing happens even though it is up to temperature. The bed and hotend is hot to the touch.

If I try to run the job and nothing happens after that I can not control the Solidoodle until I reset. I got it to work once in the last day by resetting my computer and keep trying. Also when I try to print it does not home like it used to when it was working.

Re: Won't Start Printing

Both in Repeiter-Host and Pronterface it thinks it is printing but does not.

Re: Won't Start Printing

Yes, that one red LED in the back. It is weird since I can do the axis, extrude. Just if I hit print nothing happens but the softwares think stuff is happening

Re: Won't Start Printing

Silly question, but do you have Repetier set to show errors and it is not reporting any?

E3D-v4 Hotend, MK5 carriage with round plastic wire conduit , 3/16" tempered glass,  Well nut, SureStepr SD8825 1/32 Extruder Driver, PowerEdge 2650 500W PS, QU-BD heated bed, circuit board fan, hinged plexiglass enclosure with plastic tray top. Other than that mostly stock SD3

Re: Won't Start Printing

No errors but I just noticed something. For slicer I had made a "PLA" filament settings. Oddly enough the one I made(PLA) works but not the default ABS it came with which I never changed. Well at at least I have it responding again.

Re: Won't Start Printing

That ABS slicer material profile must be corrupt since making a duplicate of it from scratch seems to work. Very odd.
