Topic: Part numbers / description for connectors used on sd3?

I want to modify my solidoodle but don't want to disassemble all the connectors as i swap the heat bed and print head.

Does any know what compatible connectors are used? Ideal from farnel electronics?

Its been covered in other threads, but the proper Solidoodle ones are from TE Connectivity and can be had from Digikey or RS Components. http://www.digikey.com.au/product-searc … mp;stock=1 . The different colours are used to denote the differnt wire gauges of the connector - Red is 22AWG, Blue is 26AWG etc.

Digikey is from the USA.. They are like one of the biggest component distributors around ! wink

I just happened to link the .au URL... drop the .au and its US....

Glass bed with QU-BD heat pad upgrade, threadless ballscrew w/ 8mm smooth rod, spectra line belt replacement, lawsy MK5 extruder, Lawsy replacement carriage, E3D hotend, Ramps 1.4 w/ reprap discount controller, DRV8825 drivers, 12v 30A PS, Acrylic case, Overkill Y-idlers, Filament alarm, Extruder fan + more.
