Topic: Upgrade the SD3

I have had the SD3 for some time now but have never been able to calibrate it as precisely as I would like. In general I tend to run into issues due to slight design/part deficiencies. Has anyone used their machine as a "base" and upgraded the components to get a smooth running extremely accurate machine (bearings, motors, misc part changes). Would anyone care to share what components they have changed?
