Topic: Possible problem with Solidoodle natural ABS filament?

Hi everyone,

I have had my SD2 since December 2012. I have ran through all of the calibrations and have been pretty happy with the performance. Just these last couple of days, I have had problems printing with the official Solidoodle natural ABS filament. I tried changing temps from 180 up to 200, tweaking the tension knob on the jigsaw extruder, and messing with my flow control and filament diameter measurements in slic3r. I either end up with an underfeeding print or jammed filament that causes the hobbed bolt to grind a spot in the filament. I will post pics later tonight, but is it possible that I have a bad spot in the middle of my filament? I also think there might be some moisture in it, but I'm not sure if that would cause the jamming that I have been experiencing. Is it possible that I have a partial clog? I cleared everything out last night, and it was feeding okay from the extrude button in slic3r. Any other tips or optimal settings would be great. It figures that the first time I need my machine to fill a tight deadline it starts acting fussy... : )

Thanks!
