Topic: SD3 bed will not heat up

I was able to run jubs on my SD3 for a couple of days and then the bed stopped heating up.  I can't get it to heat up at all manually or as part of a job.  I am new to the field and could use any troubleshooting steps I may be able to follow.

do you have a multimeter? the best place to start would be to test for 12v on the bed and also that the bed is not open circuit

I have figured out the issue.  There is 12 volts at the connector, but it looks like the connector started to melt and is shorting.  I have to run out to Radioshack and get a replacement.  I was able to get it to heat up using jumpers though.
