SD3 will not show up as plug and play. Have issue with installing driver.

Are you using WIndows  8? IF so take a  look at  http://www.tabletroms.com/forums/visual … s-8-a.html

SD3, E3D hotend,linear bearing on x/y axis',pillow block bearing on y conneting rod, ball bearngs on front y axis, fan on y stepper motor.

maybe try another USB  port

When I do the motors jump. So I know it is connecting. Just not recognized. Need a workaround for installing driver.

In repetier, on com 3, When I connect I get a "COM Error". and when I disconnect the motors jump.

Tied COM 1 and nothing happens. Been moving the USB around but no change.

If the motors jump then COM3 is probably right and you might have the baud set wrong, what is showing up in the log window after you connect to the printer?
