Topic: Model is not positioned on printing area

so i was trying to print a superman symbol that i downloaded from thingverse.com and when i try to print it starts printing off the printing area. How can i move the model to position it in the center of the hot plate?
i will attach the model
please help smile

If you're using skeinforge and pronterface you'll need to download a program called replicatorG or something like it that allows you to reposition the STL file in the center of the bed.  If you're using Slic3r and Repetier Host you can do it from within the software.

No problem welcome to the family.  Just make sure to try a search before you submit questions, you'll learn a lot more that way because most of the issues you'll come across have been covered. 

What's your goal for the printer, just hobby or you doing something more with it?

well im a student  in an engineering class and my teacher told me to learn how to make it work so decided to check the forum for advice
