Its good to hear that SD took care of his issue. I think the case works fine other than the fact that the powder coating rubs off from contact with the filament. This powder then ends up in the fan (now makes a noise from this), bed, pretty much everywhere inside the machine. I think this was poor quality control on SD's part and I feel I am owed a new fan but you don't see me complaining...

Agree, Flaming on Soliforum is completely unnecessary.

That's your choice, and as I see it, persons with your personalty type are the reason for the current downfall in human society...people with that mind-state are mostly government dependent, passive, listless sheep...(truly a cast of worker ants)...just like all past government's have always dreamed for...there will always be peons who step idly into a nazi-gas chamber or firing lines vs putting up a fight at the right time (there is a wrong time and place as well...I did step somewhat into that territory)...but I'm a fighter (genetically related to some of the best our country has ever seen born, directly a decedent of Daniel Boone), not some pathetic replaceable worker ant...that soon if persons like myself will force into extinction anyway with the help of advanced robotics...We haven't had nearly enough "Arab Springs" or Wall-Street protest; without them the correct law of the land will continue to be destroyed page by page and never stay unbiased. I'm sure by comparison you prefer being overran by rulers with their interest only being meet and doing what daddy tells you 100% of the time...Any person with common sense realizes...a 100$ refund for useless paperweight taking up my needed space is worth one hour or so of my time...I seriously doubt most here make that per hour...and it's true money saved...is money earned.

I was directing my angst, tongue-in-cheek, toward SD for perhaps not honoring refunds/replacements for all effected customers w/ warranty issues but only those that complain enough....... sheesh.

Unintelligent, unlikely (if you are a bad speller...I'm not great at it personally...just use google chrome)....I am likley completely batshit insane though...that's very likely....Ban sticks don't do a single thing and are just for people who make sandwiches at subway, so they can feel the power of being a boss...to technologically savvy individuals like myself....just use something called TOR (you might have heard of it...i think most people at this point have) J
Just make another account from whatever random IP we are assigned. (I was hard banned from DELL.com for similar behavior had tons of post deleted (even though the the support was secretly feeding me alpha and beta bioses to test). I was the person that discovered a potentially very costly and extremely simple bug, "the Power State management +kepler bug" and I fixed it (despite 5 months of Dell trying)...that situation had 100s nearly ready for a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT...that I ruined for them all...now that's a pissed off mob...so if you think this is anywhere near the flames I've ignited by ruining people's hopes for defective hardware and 4,000$ refunds...all I can say is LOL...get in line. I always choose not to "edit" my post for anything other than attempts at improving grammar (I obviously have a horrible habit of creating the worst run-on sentences ever and overusing punctuation in incorrect spots). Other than that I'm confident about my statements and don't want to de-value my successful and proven method for enacting others to respond. You can call me names, try to belittle me all you want...but all you are really doing is giving the feedback I require...I learned to just ignore slander. You be you and I will be me...enough said.

Meh...I still meant what I said in about that personality type in general...
I can only hope that SD honors everyone's request equally, I had stated in my orginal post that my, "outcry" was for anyone willing to speak out and some have done that including yourself...I fought this fight in public so other's can save face and not seem like a douchebag (I don't mind the picture I painted for myself...like I said earlier I am used to it)....it's the salvation of other's that sparks my fire and it was the main point behind my BBB complaint and eventual outburst here in this specific thread, I don't want others to forced into a "perceivably bitchy mood" as I was. Honestly, I've been quite jovial during this whole exchange despite a bit of acting (I've never lied about or exaggerated in any of my claims). Sadly, I can't take anymore time with this problem or spend it chatting with you fine gentleman since I actually solved the problem for me as far as I am concerned...if other's seek the same...the precedent set for you to follow in the footsteps of success. GO GET EM TIGERS!!!!

While you think so highly of yourself, your accomplishments, and intellect; you do lack the ability to enter a conversation or debate without resorting to name calling or the use of language that is not fit for normal conversation. For example, starting your reply to solidoodlesupport by calling them a “liar” and using the f-word in your post. I would assume that someone with your level of intelligence would be able to enter into and win a debate without degrading yourself to name calling and swear words. It seems that since you have gotten your $100 back you are once again a happy customer of Solidoodle. The only analogy I can think of for the way that you handled yourself in this situation is as a toddler that throws a tantrum in order to get a piece of candy. Once they receive the candy they are all smiles again, even with the tears still wet on their face; at least until the next tantrum. I would suggest that in the future you use your intelligence to win the debate and not resort to name calling and swear words; at least not on a forum for all to see.
