Hello,
got the printer, setup the z axis, and even resoldered the blue connector(was ruined when recieved)
only negative thing is the scratched tape..lol
however, when i print now the abs just bunches around the nozzle. like it wont come out and stick on the tape, just wants to bunch on the nozzle.
whats causing this?
I believe one of my settings is messed up..
First things to try to get abs to stick:
Make sure bed is clean, use acetone or alcohol or dishsoap

alright, seems just the the z height is messed up then.
my tape is really scratched up bad, from first few prints...
also, is it normal my extruder is angled?
ok..so my prints are non existant. It just jumbles up the filament and doesnt stick to bed, and its way to high even after 3 hours of z axis movement.....
HELP!
Could you post up some pictures of your extruder how it is angled and also what do you mean it is way too hig... you mean the extruder over the bed when it starts to print?
When you calibrated the Z height could you feel any friction at all when sliding a piece of paper between your nozzle and bed?
I'd also like to see your angled extruder.
