Topic: Hot end connectors

Hi all!

Do you know the model of the hot end connectors? I would like to buy a j-head but of course those come just with the cables, so I have to attach the connectors myself.

Any other tips for attaching a J-Head to the SD? (I'm planning to use Lawsy's MK4 extruder)

I know it's been posted here before but I can't find it.  I thought it was elmoret.

I also couldn't find it... I found a post on the google group about connectors but in the end support said "we will send you spare ones" and that was it... But I would like to find out what to buy independently of them.

EDIT: Looks like the link in that post doesn't work, but I think it's this based of the URL.  The original URL had an "A" at the end of the P/N if that changes things.

Thanks for the link! Lawsy mentions a JST connector, but that doesn't look right... It looks more like a Molex connector, like this one maybe. A molex connector seems also the standard on the Makergear kit, but I couldn't find out which one.

Ah ok, so they just fit in the receptacle already mounted on the extruder? You didn't have to change those as well?

If your replacing the connectors you should also replace the wires to the mother board, since it is prone to fail
