Hi everyone and many thanks to @madman907 for the great work!
I have a Da Vinci Mini w. I have an issue. I can't block firewall for xyz software. I must choose a type of connection (public or private). How can I solve that?
Is there someone with the same problem?
Is blocking firewall strictly necessary?

I found this page, and try it.
But the result was same as Mr.barebarekun (He reported at 2019-04-13 22:56:48).
This application didn't display any information and error message.
I use HTC U11 and NTAG213.

And I could the information of this tag with other application (NFC TagInfo).
I'd like to know the reason I could not.
My phone or paper tag or other ... ?
But nobody replied to Mr.barebarekun.
if Mr.modfreakz open the source code of this wonderful application, I'd like to try to find the cause.

Or if someone can answer the cause and the way to resolve this situation, I'll report my information(Tag data etc...).

NTAG215 and NTAG216 cards cab be used if you set the page numbers of the password and pack correctly.

This doesn't appear to work any more. I have a daVinci jr 1.0, latest firmware (unfortunately). I can write to the nfc tags just fine, but the printer still says unrecognized spool
What length did you use? Try using 200m if you haven't already.

i set 200m length, i have 2.4.6 firmware 
Well Im not sure, but once it recognized as invalid spool you can throw it away.
It is possible that it is blacklisted in EEPROM or some sectors of the TAG are intentionally locked with garbage parameters now.
Get new TAG an try again with correct parameters.

I figured how to safely block the internet connection out in windows firewall. Maybe it solves troubles on Jr. also (I have a Mini w). You have to go to advanced options and set new rules for exit connections for all the XYZ softwares.

I wrote this in another post, hope it helps. Hello all, I'm new to this printer got it for 20 dollars because the person didn't know anything about it. It is a XYZ DaVinci jr 1.0 with system firmware version 2.4.6. As a newbie trying to follow all of these posts it got me lost so here is what I did. I downloaded Ntag refill tool from another post ( Link to download ) ( https://my.hidrive.com/share/0g2q.7uge7#$/ ) ( Creadidt to the original maker and poster, can't find the post to link it to.) ran the app, put a blank nfc tag under my phone then changed it to PLA and full 240m, went to printer and set it on the reel holder then went to spool info and it showed up as a full reel of plastic.
I hope this can help someone else.

Anzi, scusa, si ho risolto, però ho utilizzato l'app che ha segnalato il ragazzo qua sopra, nell'ultima versione. Ora va in stampa senza errori, con internet acceso.

With the old version of the app ntag refill (the first one) my printer stopped after uploading the file. With the latest version 1.4 in the link above, it sems work! I don't know if it is because i blocked internet connection or it is only due to the new version of the app.
Does anyone has the answer?

I'm not sure what's going on but recently after some printing the tags going something like 800739 meters. Basically, Xyz mini maker doesn't accept the tag. Did XYZ do something?

The firmware on my Da Vinci Mini W+ got upgraded and I am no longer able to use paper tags.
New firmware version: 1.1.8

Hey fellas does the PTEG option actually works? It seems that it is the same temperature as the PLA in the tag but it had to be higher since PTEG has a higher melting point therefore it can damage the printer, correct me if I'm wrong.

Just for info; the experimental settings allow you at the moment to change sector/page 0x0C, original value on all tags [D2002D00]
I assume this sector/page was planned to be used for the extruder temperature and the bed temperature.
Changing this values have no effect to print result on my daVinci MiniW.
Yes, lately all the firmware updates block the paper tags now, so youre doom unless downgrade the firmware version.

Could you please help...
System version of my da Vinci Jr 1.0 is 2.3.5
When I use the app it refills the original PCB tag from the real but then it becomes UNIDENTIFIED SPOOL !
I did the same with a paper tag - Generating a new tag but it is also read by the printer as UNIDENTIFIED SPOOL !
I guess this is because of the firmware version of 2.3.5

No that is not true!!
You still can use it. only you have to be sure you have correct generated the parameters.
Once the printer reads the paper tag with wrong parameters (mistake or similar) then you can trow away this paper tag.
It is blocked/blacklisted or locked by XYZ.
Do not use 240m anymore! only 200m are supported by the new fimware.
btw. I will try update the App soon.
It seems it would be much easier to just dump whatever xyz printer you have and spend two or three hundred on a true open source machine and not have to deal with this xyx bs. The filament is their bread and money and they will always be coming with ways to break the hacks.

Thanks ! i was using the arduino method for a while and stop working after an update (the tags were not recognized anymore even setting the tags at 200m) thats why i was a bit skeptical and didnt want to update my printer firmware. but you used a different way to set the tags
