Topic: filawinder question

Hi, purchased the filastruder and filawinder.

Haven't started to build the filastruder yet. just working on the filawinder.

I've noticed the STL's don't match the parts I received.
Motor gear doesn't fit. the arm for bolt, the plate holes for screws don't line up to lazer cut part.

Biggest problem so far, is the Lazer. Docs says use flat screw driver open lazer cut pieces and release
when you put the lazer into hole. But the lazer WAY smaller than hole. It just drops out.
How should I hold it in place?

You could put a few wraps of tape around the laser to increase its diameter.

was thinking about hot glue it in the hole.

A little bit of tape works great
