Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

These are the results with the different steps / mm E axis, for an acceptable result 120 steps / mm.
The printer, prints in mirror mode, and it does not print in the center of the bed.

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

Have you measure the thickness of the wall?

If the printer prints in mirror mode, check if x-axis and y-axis are in correct direction. if x-axis is 0, the hotend should in left, if y-axis is 0, the print bed should be inside.

If it does not print in the center of the bed, upload your configuration.h and configuration_adv.h.

Try my version of Marlin in attachment of the following post and see if the problem still there. They are both pre-configured for RAMPS converted Jr. Backup your current version so that you can go back to it if needed.

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

If it measures 0.42mm, the steps / mm E axis you use to print should be the optimal one to use.

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

Hi, now I'm printing in the center of the bed, but I'm still printing in mirror mode both on the x and y axes

In your Repetier Host settings for the printer you need to swap the settings for invert direction in controls for the x and y axis. It is at the bottom of this window.

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

The manual control is good, when I give an order it performs well, it is at the moment that the printer makes the piece that is inverted

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

If the issue does not effect the print quality then just ignore it. The end result is still the same. My printers X and Y is reversed from the layout in the slicer but since it has no impact on the print I have never attempted to fix it.

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

If you have that problem, you should repair it, since as I put in the previous example, if the piece is made to fit in a device, it will never match

Just change the Repetitor-host setting Carl mentioned above, it will fix the problem.

Just so you know your first few prints will never fit if you are trying to make a print that will fit in something that already exist. You see when your print cools it actually shrinks by a certain percent. So unless you know that exact percentage and allow for it in your CAD work then your first few prints are always going to be too small or too big in some cases.

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

Maybe I did not explain myself correctly, or that the translator did not finish translating correctly.
I try to explain again

Movement of engines both when making house and in manual control OK
Stop of engines at minimum endstop OK
Visualization of the piece in the thread OK

When it starts to print it reverses the axes and performs the wrong piece

Post a picture of your settings like Carl did. It looks like it is trying to mirror your object. I see what your talking about. Re models it not just rotating it.

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

So you mean when it prints the head is moving left when you think it should move right? Just make sure you know that in GCODE movement is defined as head movement. Do not look at bed movement when you look at things moving. In GCODE the bed does not move even though you see it does. IT is the head that is moving in GCODE. So in some machines if the HEAD is supposed to move forward, the BED will actually move backwards. If the HEAD is supposed to move backwards then the BED will actually move forward.

If it is mirroring as you see when taking this corrected movement into account then you need to post your full configuration.h file so we can look at it.

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

Solved !!!!! I'm very stupid, silly

The problem was simpler than it represented, after all the options that you gave, proving everything and not finding the reason for the problem ... I decided to disarm everything.

The problem and the fault was a bad assembly, motor and endstop of the x axis mounted on the Y axis, and the Y axis on the X axis ....... I am very stupid.

Many thanks to everyone, especially to yizhou.he who has helped me in many ways and to others for your advice and possible solutions ..

Re: Error Nema Da Vinci Jr ramps comvertion

Your not stupid. Just made a simple mistake. Glad you figured it out. Don't forget to show your fixed and good prints.
