Check generate support material under print settings in slic3r. Happy printing!

Enabling Support will work, but then the situation is somewhat out of your control. Another option would be to modify the object being printed so that there are some small supports that you design in yourself. Then you can just snap them off after the object prints. Having control over the support material can be useful.

I don't care for Slic3rs support. I prefer the supports generated by skeinforge myself.
kisslicer is supposed to have some of the best support structures and I have been extremely happy with the gcode it has been putting out. You can load the gcode into RH easily as well.
Just flip that and print it standing straight up. You may have to change the front guard that holds in the battery to be at an angle (45 degrees or less) then you shouldn't need any support.
