Topic: New minimaker fails with code 0032

Hi. I just bought a Da Vinci MiniMaker and it fails with code 0032. That's the z-axis motor not working.
XYZPrinting support is slow and a google search turns up very little.

I suppose I can check if it's connected and the sensor work, if I just knew where to find the damn thing?

Anyone experienced something similar?

if it still under warranty, don't try to fix yourself.

Problem solved. Support wanted me to ship it back to China, but no... Turns out there is a tiny piece of gray plastic holding the z-axis in place and it's NOT mentioned in the setup guide. Removing this solved the problem and it just prints without a hitch every time big_smile

the setup guide did not mention too much about removing shipping protection stuff at all. I spent long time try to take out the Styrofoam box holding print bed without break it. after I break it and take it out, i realize i may solve the problem by raise the hotend.
