Topic: Ok so what have I done wrong!

On my solidoodle mk 3 when I am printing the diagonal layer fills on the next slice you can hear, and feel on the frame, the nozzle hitting the previous layer at right angles. This also happens when the nozzle is transitioning around the print.

Too much extrusion??? Have you calibrated the extrusion rate yet?

Looks around sheepishly. Guess that's a no then!

I'll trawl for the instructions and do that when i get home tonight.

Hey, don't feel too bad... we all gotta start somewhere and you can't learn with out asking questions smile

just do a search for calibrating or something along those line on this forum and you'll find plenty of thing that may need to be done.
