Topic: Brand new davinci 1.0 pro stepper hitting the side

I have a friend who has just bought a new 1.0 pro and whenever he tries to calibrate, the x axis, I think, just hits the side and the stepper bangs.
He's check the end stop wiring and it looks good.

Anybody seen this before?

The endstop it's self could be bad. just swap it for another and see if the problem follows the endstop. Did he buy it new or used? If used is the firmware stock?

Good idea I'll get him to give it a try or check the output with a meter.

Problem solved, removed the rear panel and the x and z axis stepper connectors were loose, when re-seated all was well.
