Topic: Velocity Painting
I've been following Mark Wheadon's(https://twitter.com/MarkWheadon) Velocity Painting process on twitter for a while and it's really neat! Basically he wrote a script that alters the gcode of a print to speed up or slow down the head so the difference in speed produces different shades of the same color. I highly encourage you to check out his Twitter page for some really great examples, especially his print of Adalinda by loubie(http://www.thingiverse.com/make:295944).
Come along Guillaume(https://twitter.com/dkvef445) who wrote the beta programs to run on OSX and Windows recently, and now anyone can enjoy Velocity Painting!
I attached my first test print with V.P. and it came out pretty well on our TAZ5 in PETG.
