Topic: da Vinci Mini - Z-Axis

Hello helpful people

The printer has been working with out any problems until yesterday when it started making a strange noise after a while it then started beeping.

Printer was powered off then back on.  Same thing happens when you try to print, go into jog mode or calibrate.

The attached video shows what is happening after going into jog mode after clicking on the home button.

It then comes up with the error code 0032

It also looks like a bit has dropped off the Z-Axis motor

Have you tried turning leadscrew by hand to ensure it's not binding somewhere?!

Hi kr15_uk,

Is that the long thread that the extruder moves up and down on?

If it is it will rotate.. but not very smoothly it feels like that there is a lot of friction to it rotating.

我在中国，看不到境外视频，但是根据你的描述，建议你拆下Z轴电机，检查外壳损坏情况。

哇哦，看到你的照片，步进电机应该已经解体了~~~~中国的报价，这种电机售价要150RMB~~~~~
