Topic: Correct settings to center print in Pronterface

Ever since installing Pronterface, I've been annoyed by the fact that prints display centered on the upper right corner of the bed display, even though the settings for the build dimensions as installed seem to be correct as specified on other posts here (i.e "150x150x150-75-75+0")

I thought the code was somehow missing the custom settings, but after tracing the code and doing some experimentation, I found out for me that the dimensions need to instead be "150x150x150+0+0+0" instead to be centered.  Isn't this actually correct, since the bed origin is in the back right corner and not in the center of the bed?  Is the difference in settings perhaps due to some sort of SD1/SD2 change?

150x150x150-75-75+0  works on mine.  You're just centering the view window not changing anything that will print.

Yeah.  I realize that, but it annoyed me that the print was mostly offscreen in the window.  Tracing the code in gviz.py, the drawing is done relative to a corner after adding the offset, so it seems like an offset of 0,0 is correct since the printer bed origin is in the corner, not the center of the bed. 

I am also using slic3r which centers prints on (75,75) implying the origin is in the corner.  Maybe skeinforge resets the printer origin to the center of the bed (?) but I tossed that out long ago.
