Topic: End stops prematurely triggered mid print
Hi all.
I currently have a Solidoodle 4 that's 2 years old and it's been pretty good for the most part.
Just recently, I've tried to do a 24hr+ print and it ended up miserably failing. Halfway through the print, the model had a huge layer shift (> 40mm shift) and messed up the print altogether.
Having a look through the logs, I've noticed that both the X-axis and Y-axis end stops were triggered mid-print and continued to do so for a few layers. I've attached an excerpt of the problem in the file. This has been the first case I've had of a large layer shift since I updated the firmware last week.
Has anyone had this sort of problem before? I have a feeling that the cable that extends from the extruder might be the main cause.
