Topic: Best way to transport a da vinci jr safely?

I recently purchased a da vinci jr. I want to transport it from one building to another. They are far enough away from each other that I have to use a car. What would be the best way to transport it without dammaging any parts?
I kept most of the packing material that came with it.

If you are not shipping it or taking it too far then it probably will be ok in the car itself on a cushioned seat.  You could pack in  it the original box for safety but that most likely would not be needed assuming you are not going off road and the roads are relatively smooth.  smile

Yep normal driving in town or highway should have no issues. Just put it in a front or back seat where it wont slide around. If it is safe and comfortable to you, the printer should feel the same.

You need to secure the extruder from moving in the X & Y directions. Any fast movement will cause back Current that can fry the motherboard.  Other then to secure the printer you should be fine.

Thats no longer a problem with most boards. They meaning newer boards should of snubbing diodes to block back EMF on all the motor ports.
