Topic: What could be causing this?

I just received my DaVinci 1.0 2 days ago and am new to 3D printing. My first print was one of the samples and it came out great. I then wanted to print a model I have been working on. I ran the file through netfabb for repair and then loaded it into xyzware. It came out ok, except for the little bubbles that were all around the model. What could be the cause of this?

Re: What could be causing this?

Looks to me like bad filament. It has moisture in it. Also could be under temp. Maybe bump the temp up 5 degrees. But I am leaning on bad filament.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Re: What could be causing this?

Thanks for the information, it helped alot. I upped the temp to 218C and I am getting much better prints.
