Topic: Printed Gear Teeth Rounded

Can timing pulley teeth be printed w/ sharp corners ?

42 teeth XL 1/5 pulley come out w/ rounded edges. Tried .2 resolution at slow speed. W/ fan, no fan.
Cura set at .8 shell thickness. Overall the gear is perfect.
Tried measuring the shell thickness, seems to be about .9

Too rounded to use w/ a belt.

Re: Printed Gear Teeth Rounded

I was never able to get my DaV to do very sharp corners or angle. It seemed to round all of them a bit.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!
Anycubic 4MAX best $225 ever invested.
Voxelabs Proxima SLA. 6 inch 2k Mono LCD.
Anycubic Predator, massive Delta machine. 450 x 370 print envelope.

Thought so, machine limitations.
Tried lowering extrusion multiplier to the point so the layers dont come apart.

Pulley - Shown 1st print PLA at .3 res.  3rd print was .2 res- about 25% better.
Belt - Shown 1st print Semi Flex at .2 res. oops forgot to widen belt model to 3/8.

When the 2 mesh, surprising, looks to be very usable on the indexer.
