Printrbot replacement guide needed.

Hi
My solidoodle board shorted a few weeks back and I got a replacement.
I got the printrboard rev f and I just needed to know is their any guides out there using it with the solidoodle 3
I know I need to reflash the firmware and I know how to do that
But is their anything else that needs to be done.
I had read something about changing the board to use the z end stop instead of a auto probe but I am not sure.
