Topic: XYZ deVinci Jr dont print anythink any good

I i have a DeVinci Jr and done all the bed leveling over and over again but still not printing any think good every think is coming out with banding or the print head is not printing i have cleand the head before every print. it did pint ok but just will not print now anythink with out banding or with the top missing. I have seen other people get great thing out of this printer but it just dont want to print any think good even the demo on the card dont print. any hel welcome

It would help if you post a picture of what you mean by banding.. That printer really should not have any banding since it was prebuilt and no chance of mismatched z-screw dimensions.

I am no expert but have you tried another filament ? (moisture)

Or maybe even the way it printed out lay it flat instead of from the handle up ?

I had allot of prints with that problem and one thing I did was contact XYZ who sent a version 2.0 print head. The bottom of the metal extruder was flat on the 1.0 but the 2.0 is rounded slightly at the bottom. This did help then the next thing I did that seemed to improve things further is adjust the z offset until it printed nice prints (about 2 paper thicknesses above the print bed). Sometimes you have to go above or below that to find the sweet spot. Also, if you haven't checked out youtube and done the deep cleaning method they posted then I would also try that.

ok thank you i`ll try and give it a go this weekend been a bit busy and feedup with this printer. I`ll let you know how i get on thank you smile

ok tried the deep clean and it still not printing good so i have taken to feeder apart and found there was a grub screw missing so it was not feeding the filament it just syarted ok then would stop and start found a scrw that fits and now done the demo and it has come out great now trying some more stuff hope i have have fix it now fingers crossed
