Topic: I believe the X axis is shifting every so many layers during print.

I believe the x axis may be the cause but don't have any idea what to do next. Every so many layers all the parts that are printing shift to the right. Can someone please help me?

Try a fan on the board and maybe one on the motor.

Even if it has been working and printing perfectly fine for the last 1.5 years? And I have never greased to bars since I bought it. Is there a type of grease you use?

Little grease is needed but it wouldn't hurt to try.  You can use almost anything but white lithium seems to be preferred.  To answer your question regarding the fans, heat is the enemy of electronics.  A fan on the board and X-motor helps prolong their life.  Without additional cooling it would seem as though their lifespan is roughly 1.5 years wink

Re: I believe the X axis is shifting every so many layers during print.

The printrboard on it is around 120˚F and the x axis motor is hitting temps of 175-200˚F. Does anyone have a file to print that i could mount a fan onto the printrboard?

shouldn't be too hard to design, but I have never seen one.
