Topic: Up in Smoke

I run a 1.0 with repetier and Simplify3D. While printing I received a message on the display that said filament is out, load filament. Although, the filament was not out. It paused, then moved to home position in x and y (typical for reloading filament), and then one of the wires to the nozzle circuit board overheated, melted the insulation and smoked. I unplugged as soon as I saw the smoke. It appears that the board in the nozzle went bad (not sure why that is as of yet) and was giving a faulty read that the filament was out. Attached are some pictures.

Has anyone experienced this?

What I plan on doing is replacing the entire nozzle and find a new wire harness for that particular plug. Any ideas where I might be able to find one close to what these are off the self?

Re: Up in Smoke

the real question is whether it damaged your main board when it shorted out.
