Topic: Motherboard BOOT Pin Location

Hello all,

I'm looking to update the firmware on my workbench motherboard (extruder motor steps are way too high) , I have everything ready to go, however I can't find the BOOT pins. I assume the black button on the top right is for resetting however, where are the boot pins on the printboard?

Re: Motherboard BOOT Pin Location

Note: you don't need to reflash just to change steps, that's what EEPROM is for.
But yeah, AZERATE has it correct.  That's why it says "boot" right on the board.

Re: Motherboard BOOT Pin Location

I see, thank you. I changed it through Repetier. The reason I couldn't see the boot pins is because there's another blue board stacked on top the motherboard. It's difficult to get in there, much less read the board. What's the blue board?

Pins are in there somewhere, between the two baords.

Re: Motherboard BOOT Pin Location

It's just a daughter board to add another stepper to the PrinterBoard.
Happy to hear you've figured it out.
