Topic: Possible Firmware Issue

Hey Gang,
Has anyone else had the issue of sending a print to the printer and you see the g-code sent line by line but none of the motors run?
Recently I repaired the z-stepper motor connector, one that I'm sure many of you are familiar with since there is not a proper amount of strain relief in the harness going to the printer head.
Also note that I can home all axis and run the z-calibration but there is no manual control using RH or the Soliprint.
Thanks for commenting,

Are you making sure you are connected in your host?

Carl, I don't follow. Isn't the host the printing software? Perhaps the USB cable is loose or a wire in the harness to the board is loose?

Re: Possible Firmware Issue

The host does not connect automatically, you have to click the button that says connect and confirm it turns green. Then you should also active temperature feed back in the host as well.

Re: Possible Firmware Issue

Thanks for the idea, but I was able to send homing commands to the printer using the host. I have connected with Repetier Host and Soliprint.
