Topic: Tore off the 12 volt screw connector from the electronics board

Hi Guys,

I move my solidoodle 3 printer around a lot, and over time, the lame ass tape holding the cable in place kinda just gave out. I had been meaning to get around to securing it with a better method, but today I noticed that the 12 volt screw connector had been pulled cleanly away from the board.

Sigh... Not my best moment.

Here is a pic of the damage. Anyone know where I can get a replacement part and where it goes?

This was a very heartbreaking moment for me.

I have a suggestion  for those with this setup get some cable tie mounts and cable ties to prevent this I know closing the gate after the horse has wandered. but may save someone future grief.

Thanks for your posts. I did look to see if anyone else had the same issue, and didn't find anything. Thanks for the link.

Love the cable tie mounts Tin Falcon. I'm getting some and fixing my issue!
