Topic: hot end and bed wont heat up

hello. I have a solidoodle 4.
my hotend clogged and when I went to change it out
I screwed something up. im hoping someone can help.
my hotend and bed will not heat up now.
any suggestions?

Probably damaged the thermistor or the connection to it. The printer will not operate if it can not get a reading from the thermistor.

You would first need to investigate to see what exactly the issue is. A broken wire? Actual damage to thermistor? Easiest fix is just buy a new thermistor and replace it. But trying to figure out the issue will lead to the cause and prevent it from happening again.

I would still urge you to try and figure out what is wrong or happened to your current thermistor. If it is a mechanical issue or user isdue then it will repeat with the new one.

I will do a check with my multimeter prior to putting
the new thermister on.
