Topic: Renders fine in XYZware, but clicking print corrupts it.
Hey there,
I'm new to the XYZ DaVinci 3D Printer and have been having an issue with models with relatively complex vertices.
When I import the STL file in the XYZware software, it appears to render as it should. After I click "Print", it does a preparation with "Object slicing" and then shows a completely corrupt render of what it's going to print.
I'm simply trying to print this 3D cube that I've attached. I made it first using AutoCAD, a simple 5x5 cube divided into 1x1 cubes. I then imported this into 3ds Max and applied a "Renderable Spline" to the Modifier List to give the wireframe a thickness.
Here's what it looks like inside XYZware before clicking print:

And here's what it looks like after clicking print:

Any tips? I was thinking maybe it wasn't thick enough or there were too many sides specified in the "Renderable Spline", but that didn't help.
I've read that modifying the printer for Slic3r may be in my best interest, but I'm not sure if that is relevant to this situation.
Any help is appreciated, thanks.
