There are quite a few threads in the Filament section giving (sometimes brutally) honest reviews. Nine times out of ten, if it seems too good to be true...well, you know

Meh. All depends from user to user. I print a lot of replacement and upgraded parts as well as designs I've made, stuff for my daughter, blah blah blah. Point is, if I am home, my printer is usually humming along. Some users like to print very small and would therefore not go through as much filament in a month. But since I print large items, I go through more material....this is also a kick in the teeth if I get a few failed prints.
You could research a Filastruder...cheapest Filament you could come across if you know what you are doing, and you could also recycle your failed prints and unwanted scraps.
