Topic: Raspberry Pi not connecting?

Howdy. Tim Elmore sent me here, said maybe y'all could help with knowhow on how to get a Raspberry Pi talking with a Sanguino.
I've run all the step-by-steps available at the EverChangingInterests URLs and still can't get my Pi to connect to the Sanguino.
Not sure what else I can try. Can't find any other tutorials that have worked either. If you have any suggestions, I'm all ears.
Thanks!

For reference, the Pi is up-to-date with all packages, Sanguino is Rev 1.3a, running latest Sprinter firmware.

I've tried a variety of baudrates but none seem to fix the problem. Set both in firmware and in pronterface.

Re: Raspberry Pi not connecting?

definitely check out elmoret's link... we have a few working with the pi as a print server.

[Don't know how he finds those things so quick.  I usually have a heck of a time with the search button... sad )

Baud rate set to 115200 in firmware.
USB device is seen at boot-- as FTDI controller, no problem there.
Pronterface just sits there stupid not doing anything, "connecting" but nothing happens.
