Hello, I've the same problem with my Da Vinci Mini.
The printer stores the filament length somewhere and block the trick to "reload filament" in the tag.

I'm looking for a way to erase the informations in the printer... help welcome wink

Sounds like the card has been locked. What are the values in Page 02?
Did you let the tag go to zero before resetting it?
What are he values in the following pages?

Page 09
Page 10  (Hex 0A)
Page 20  (Hex 14)

If you have the JR, firmware 2.2.7 was the last version that would allow you to use hacked chips.  sad

Ok, sorry I requested Page 09 and I should have requested page 0B. Page 0B should be the same as page 0A. If it's not try that. If that doesn't help try changing Psge 09 to 00363737.

I managed to reset my spool back to factory (100m) is there a way to make this spool (it's the natural white 100m) 200m?

You can change pages 10 (0A), 11 (0B) and 20 (14) all to 40 0D 03 00, or if you change them all to E0 93 04 00 you will have 300m.

I seem to remember a list of colors and their temps. Set the card to the color with the temp you want to print and boom your in! I am sure the guys printing ABS on the Jr have done this but I cant remember where the color temp list is.

So I followed this thread a bit and found the data of my nfc chip aswell.
I'd be really happy if someone could generate a key for me.

I went through all the posts and can't seem to find out why it necessary for page 9 to be increased by 1 byte each reset of same colour?

Also, when setting the length to 300 metres do the checksums need to be modified on page  15, 16, 17.

On 2.2.7 firmware, would it be possible to change the lenght of a new (for the printer unknown) NFC chip to 5000m for example?
Can someone test if this works on 2.2.4 firmware?

@candle - Starting with firmware v2.2.6 any NFC chip info alterations locks particular tag.

@RapidRaid - v2.2.6 doesn't take hacked filaments, you can use it once and that's it. BUT, you can downgrade to v.2.2.0 fairly easy. You can find this post somewhere on the forum.

Btw, as you know Jr on firmware v2.2.6+ doesn't take hacked NFC tags (aka after it's been used once) - can I suggest to 2x volunteers to try to swap used NFC tags?! It's maybe used once on your Jr but for someone else it's new...

@kr15_uk yep I've already read about the firmware downgrade today. I'll go for it once someone (please tongue) helps me with the key.
By the way: Is there a risk of bricking the system, when downgrading? Because my printer was already shipped with firmware 2.2.6.
And sadly I haven't bought a second spoole and with that no second nfc chip to test out your idea, sorry sad
