Since the red line covers the entire object in that image it should scan fine.  Can you try the scan again?

Re: New version of FreeLSS committed to Github

FreeLSS version 1.26 is now available via the ATLAS 3D auto-update system.

This releases fixes the reported issues from 1.25 and also adds a new scan quality feature.

Sub-pixel Laser Line Detection
The laser line can now be detected to a sub-pixel level resulting in greater scan quality and accuracy.

Fixed Issues

  • Resolved the "Exception: No active preset found: -1" issue.

  • Resolved the missing dependency (no such file or directory) issues.

Thanks,
Uriah Liggett

Re: New version of FreeLSS committed to Github

Any thoughts of restoring the feature of a combined left/right laser scan?

I still see that as an option.

Yes, but if I understand correctly, the recent software versions save the L and R laser results as separate shells that you then have to combine in Meshlab or something.  Older versions of the software produced a combined shell.
