Topic: Loopy Overhangs and/or bridges

How much luck have people had with overhangs on the Press?  Mine are often very "loopy" and rough at the corners... solid surfaces are not bad.

Is this because of no cooling fan, or a temperature issue, not enough time between layers?  I tried printing two parts at once, or leaving a 5 second delay between layers, but that doesn't seem to help.

I'm guessing this may be more of a general "3d printing" issue, rather than a Press issue, but any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks.

A fan will certainly help. What is your layer height set at?

This was printed at .2mm.  Similar results at .3, maybe worse.

I would try using a Fan @ .2mm.

If that still gives you problems you might try fan at .15mm or .1mm.

You might need to add a brim to keep the object on the bed if you add a fan.
