Topic: Change accelaration values in Slic3R?

Hello Solidnerds.   I am using Repetier 85, I did not like the default values for my Press movements, and decided to try different acceleration values in Slic3r   .  Slic3r says a good value would be 9000?  I think that's crazy, must be a misprint.  Under speed settings in Slic3r I changed all lines to 700, and am very pleased with the result.  Machine is much smoother, less noisy, and prints very well now.  Would someone try this, and let us know what you think.  Thank you.

How long do your prints take?  Mine were taking twice as much time as RH predicted and I finally tracked it down to accel values being too low.  I ended up at 1000mm/s^2 so maybe 700 is also OK.

You may be right, the time reported to finish a print is always too short, ha ha.  I like it at 700, but I will play with it some more.
