A thermistor reading of 0 degrees would indicate that it's not connected...if you wiggle wiring around the printhead, board, or anywhere in between, see if you get a room temp reading intermittently.

Make sure you have the correct driver installed from the SD site.  Maybe uninstall and reload it?

Success finally. I took off the connector for the umpteenth time and noticed some gunk/discoloration on the pins. I clean and scraped them and am now able to get a connection. Thanks for all the help, hopefully this helps solve some problems.
