33g to an ounce Craig
How much of that masterbatch do you have (do you have enough for 1kg of each)?
PM if preferred.

Not according to Google(or my scale), they both say 28.5 g to an oz. Heck, who cares though, I'm quoting metric as that's what I'm paying in, so that's what I need to sell in.
PM'd about quantities.

PM Craig, would be good to see what those colours come out like in filament.
Send you a pm craig. I`m interested in a good pellets and masterbatch source in europe too.
I`m from Austria.
All,
As announced by Tim in his latest Kickstarter update, I am now supplying ABS and Masterbatch in the UK (or Europe). This can be purchased through the eMAKERshop storefront, my profile listing can be reached directly via this link http://www.emakershop.com/Seller=1324

Craig
Hey guys, if anyone is interested, I just got 25 kg of clear Terluran GP-35 yesterday.
First impression is that the filament width is a little higher compared to MG94 (+0.2 mm), the filament is more white (milky) and it's a lot smoother.
The pellets are round-ish and varying in diameter from 4 mm to 0.5.
I tried to drop the temp to 175 and got about 3.1 mm (+-0.05 without a winder).
I haven't printed with it yet, but if anyone is interested, I'm willing to sell some of it for 6€/kg + transport.
I'm based in Romania so I guess transport will be cheaper in the neighbouring countries. If you're interested, contact me at [email protected].
PS: If you are familiar with the Atlassib carrier, that costs 1€/kg and you pick it up from their local office in your city.
Seems I'm not allowed to post links so you could go to postaatlassib dot ro and click on Retea/Agentii Europa to check if your city is on their network.
This is the cheapest I found, regular post to Spain costs about 5€/kg and the rest of europe ~4€/kg.
Hi guys
I ordered LG HF380 (MFR -43 gr.) ABS plastic from the Bulgarian office of this company: resinex.com They have offices allover Europe so it could be convinient for all EU users to purchase it locally. They sell it in 25 kg packages and a kilo costs about 3.2 Euro VAT included (Bulgarian VAT is 20%).
Hi all,
Please note that I have just updated the listings (http://www.emakershop.com/Seller=1324) to reflect lower shipping costs in the UK. I have also created ABS+Masterbatch combined listings which effectively give you the Masterbatch shipping included (For all destinations).
I have been refunding people in the past, but as this may have been putting some of you off I decided to create combined listings. (The store doesn't combine shipping very well).
For European orders, please do contact me for a price if you are combining items, as shipping prices do vary across Europe. I will always pass on any savings. If you have a VAT number, please provide these details, preferably in advance as I will invoice you accordingly.
Regards,
Craig
Hi all,
Tim found this blog post by a Filastruder user who bought some of my ABS, it contains pictures of successful prints.
http://funwithelectrons.blogspot.co.uk/ … astic.html
Could I ask that anyone else who bought ABS from me please adds photos of filament and/or 3D prints that they have made to this posting for others to see for themselves what is possible.
Thanks,
Craig
Hi again,
I had some people express interest in PLA (which I don't use) but I have purchased a sample bag of 25kg of PLA.
I would like to sell this in quantities of no more than 5kg to get more people trying it. The plan is that you post back here to tell people what it's like.
Details are:
Natureworks Ingeo 4032D (very similar to the 4043D sold by OSP in the US).
As with the ABS, the cost is £5 per kg and shipping for 5kg will be £7.50 to the UK or £25 to Europe (this caps out at £35 for up to 30kg, so it is cheaper per kg to ship more). (Shipping can be combined with ABS and Masterbatch.
If anyone is interested, please email me on print3d-at-kritzinger-dot-net, or via the forum.
Subject to feedback and the volume of requests I will then make a plan to stock this PLA permanently which can then be purchased via the eMAKERshop store linked in my signature and in the Filastruder "sticky" topic on Polymer Suppliers (http://www.soliforum.com/topic/4195/polymer-suppliers/)

Craig

CraigRK, or other UK truders, have you tried MBA Polymers as a source for pellets? They have a ASR (automotive shredder residue) operation in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, UK. Nice writeup on them in the recent Popular Science.
Ralph
Hi,
No I haven't. Having said that, given the printing issues people have with virgin plastics, I'm not sure we are ready for mass consumption of recycled plastics in this hobby yet, but I'm sure it will come.
Craig
Well if you could use a 20% mix that would be a savings.
Well if you could use a 20% mix that would be a savings.
true, good point.
The catch I found is the volumes that these people want us to buy to make it worth their while simply don't translate to hobby amounts.
Hi all,
I have updated the "Polymers Suppliers" (http://www.soliforum.com/post/47252/#p47252) thread with new information.
In addition, I have some trial colours that I can sell to people for testing. But as I have VERY limited quantities, I would need assurance of getting feedback (as you'll note in this thread, very few people tend to post feedback).
I have the following trial items:
Gold Masterbatch - Mix ratio 1.5%, £1.50/25g
Orange Masterbatch - Mix ratio 1%, £1.50/25g
Glow in the dark (yellow/green) Masterbatch - Mix ratio 8%, £1.50/25g
Shipping costs to the UK/EU are as per similar weight items my eMAKERShop listings (see my signature). Other people please contact me first.
Craig
