Re: Assemblying my FilaStruder
Guys,
I am getting around 13cm / minute here.
Still... it wouldn't make 1kg / 12 hours.
If we say that:
Density: 1.04 g/cm^3.
Volume: 0.96 cm^3/g or 960 cm^3/kg
3.00 mm filament length for 1 kg spool: ~ 130 meters
Following this thinking way, I would make: 93,6m / 12 hours.
Am I missing anything about this math? May I use that density?
Thanks!
Re: Assemblying my FilaStruder
1kg/12 hours is an estimate, not a guarantee. Depends on a lot of things - extrusion temperature, polymer MFI, etc. You're pretty close, about 0.75kg/12hr.
