Topic: 3D prints keep failing

I just bought ender 3 v2 and the first print I done , I wasn’t impressed with it and the 3nd one was worse but I knew it needed adjusting and calibrating as the stepper motor wasn’t sitting right , I resolved that and noticed the x axis wasn’t level on both sides so I fixed that and also e steps wasn’t correct so I done that , but since then I try to print the same one but it fails every time , once it ended up off the bed and 2nd time it was stringing and I could tell it was a failure so I stopped and third time I monitored it and about 1.5mm up I heard the nozzle was rubbing against the part I was printing so I stopped it , I’m levelling the bed the best I can and the same way I done it the first time , I don’t know what the issue is and need some help , I’m getting warped corners aswell

Re: 3D prints keep failing

Your e-steps are still no t correct for the extruder. You are over extruding. You need to set e-steps so that when you ask for 100mm of filament that you get exactly 100mm sent into the extruder. Then you need to calibrate your flow rate by printing a 20mm cube withe the slicer set for 1 wall, zero infill, and no top layer. When your flow rate is correct the wall of the cube should measure exactly .48mm. Your e-steps must be correct first.

Printing since 2009 and still love it!

Carl is correct you will not get far unless your extruder steps are set correctly. One also needs to tram the bed. and of course the machine need to to be properly assembled lubed and maintained.

This guide should help there are many steps read carefully follow step by step and you should have great results.
